FEELING GOOD, ACTING GOOFY: Head Aerosmith guys [010-001] Steve Tyler and Joe Perry flew into town last week to say hi, press the flesh and pump their upcoming album. The guys, seen here at the Barracuda, were in great spirits. But hey! With a new record deal worth 50 mil I’d feel pretty good too!

ODE TO FRIENDSHIP: A load of us squished into the Squeeze Club on Thursday to help out Rod Pasic‘s fundraising efforts for Ode to India, a dance / music / performance piece he’s trying to release on CD. Up top [010-014, L-R] we find Judy Pasic landing one on her big brother, Rod, and actress Lolita Davidovich. Rod and Lolita are long-time buds from their London, Ont., days, and she flew in from L.A. just for the evening. That’s friendship. Also in attendance were [010-015] Stephen Dirkes, who composed the music for the evening, and actress Kirsten Kieferle.

The Betty Page Social Club celebrated the third anniversary of Fetish Night at Boots, in February 1993 with George Giaouris, owner of Northbound Leather, Kyree Vibrant, singer in Angry Shoppers, and David Heymes, promoter and manager of Boots.

LEATHER LACE & UNIQUE CAKE: The Betty Page Social Club celebrated the third anniversary of Fetish Night at Boots last week with a ménage à trois of celebrations, including a fashion show courtesy of Northbound Leather, a hot performance from Michelle the firebreather and a very dishy Sherry cake. On hand to celebrate were [010-022, L-R] George Giaouris, owner of Northbound, Kyree Vibrant, singer in Angry Shoppers, and David Heymes, promoter and manager of Boots. David and George are the devious minds that created Fetish Night. Seen backstage were [-10-023] Velvet Steele and Mistress Bitch.

ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE: Roy Thomson Hall hosted “An Evening with Michael Feinstein,” raising $30,000 for Casey House, the hospice for AIDS patients. Feinstein did a program of American classics – Gershwin, Cole Porter, et al. – and dropped by the reception afterwards. Avid fan David Graham [010-018], who flew in from Winnipeg for the show, is seen here with Feinstein. Some of the behind-the-scenes people are [010-019, L-R]  Jim Wakeford and Jane Darville, executive directors of Casey House, as well as Christopher Garek of the Gap, one of the evening’s sponsors.
